Training
I believe we can be in partnership with our dogs. It doesn’t need to be a battle of wills. I teach skills that build on your relationship so you can enjoy each other’s company, for all dogs. Your dog will be treated as an individual, and not made to do anything. In fact most exercises will allow you to sit back and watch your dog show you what it can do.
The everyday life skills include:
All dogs are welcome to join group classes, but if you feel they may not cope then you can have an assessment first. It may help to put some foundations in place so you feel confident when you join a group.
Classes are ongoing so you can join at anytime, and stay for as long as you need. They are tailor made for each individual, so you only cover what you and your dog need.
I aim for a stress free and enjoyable time for you and your dog using positive reinforcement.
Learning will be at your own pace and to suit yours, and your dogs needs.
You can learn about clicker training, but it is your choice if you wish to use a clicker.
Private dog training can be in your own home, or out on a walk.
Home visits that are more than 15 miles from Warwick will have a small additional charge for mileage.
Group classes are small as I only have a maximum of 5 dogs in each.
You are welcome to come and spectate any of the group training before you join.
All private training and assessments will be followed
up with a written training plan to compliment
exercises covered in a session.
