About Me
Hello, I am Amy and I run Dogs 'n' Stuff.
I have 3 dogs of my own and have been a dog trainer for 10 years.
My dogs are a Rottweiler cross called Brie, a White Boxer called Chocolate, and a Working Sheepdog called Elf .
My main passion is teaching dogs the skills for living with us, their life skills.
Something my boxers have helped to teach me is how important self control is.
I like to use games to teach this so it is fun.
I have experience of working with a variety of breeds, and different species.
I attended Moreton Morrell College for 3 years to do a National Diploma in Animal Care and an OCN in Canine Training and Behaviour.
I have been clicker training for 10 years and have my CAP3 with Distinction (Competency Assessment Program).
I learned from Kay Laurence, and worked with her for many years. Along with the rest of the Wagmore team at Learning About Dogs.
I keep my training up to date by attending many workshops and seminars within dog training, behaviour, and canine health, within the UK and Europe.
I have attended workshops and seminars taken by Geert de Bolster, Kay Laurence, Helen Phillips, Lynda Edmondson,
Lisa Clifton-
I have taught workshops in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. I am due to teach in Belgium during 2010.
I have competed in Heelwork to Music and K9 Multisport with my boxers and WSD.
I recently started competing in Competition Obedience with Elf, and we are really enjoying the training.
